Investigating through adaptive interaction.

The “Inconvenient Studio” aims to examine architecture through the involvement and execution of smart, kinetic technologies that will allow buildings the same flexibility in performance and action that our bodies and environmental systems currently allow. We are beginning to address our understanding of kinetic structures through short, iterative experiments dealing with Lego robotics and computational design technologies. Our current experimentation will be occurring at the human scale and reacting to people and environment.Emerge
